There is no lucky dates for taking an exam in Chinese Almanac calendar. As the date of examination is usually fixed, you couldn't choose the date I think.
As far as I know, for a person who has worked as a nurse for two years are easy to pass he exam. Some of my friends who have gone to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait... and worked there for one year or two years before have easily passed the exam and are working good in US now. I think you should have experience before taking the exam.
