Life line short however long downward branch

My friends life line is very short but has a long forward branch . Her head line is long but split looking like life line but isn't .. what does this mean

The life line is not used to see the length of one's life but mainly reflects a person's physical vitality and life energy. It doesn't matter if it's short. As long as this is no island, breaks, chains... or other inauspicious signs for it, that's good.
